Evaluation Projects

  • After-School All-Stars, Los Angeles

    I served as project manager for five years of the evaluations for After-School All-Stars, Los Angeles, a large after-school provider. We conducted process, outcome, formative, and summative evaluations using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods. Additionally, we implemented a continuous quality improvement system and promoted evaluation capacity within upper and middle management in the organization.

  • Extended Learning Opportunities at MUSD

    I served as project manager for three years of the evaluations for the Extended Learning Opportunities for Montebello Unified School District. We conducted a variety of evaluations focused on yearly evaluation reporting to the district and state. Additionally, we implemented a continuous quality improvement system and promoted evaluation capacity within upper management in the organization.

  • Bright Prospect

    I served as project manager for three evaluations of Bright Prospect, a college and career readiness program. Two evaluations consisted of quasi-experiments using six years of data across two cohorts using a matched comparison design using archival data and survey data. One evaluation was an in-depth ethnographic theory-driven evaluation using a variety of qualitative methods.

  • The Findings Group

    I worked as statistics consultant and project manager for The Findings Group, a research and evaluation firm located in Atlanta, GA. I worked primarily on projects related to EarSketch and My Brother’s Keeper, both computer science education programs.

  • Higher education evaluations

    I worked with Libby Smith on a theory of change for the inclusive excellence plan at a university. I also supervised numerous evaluation projects for the MS in Applied Psychology students, including evaluations of the police department and onboarding processes at a university.

  • Be Strong Resilience Program

    I designed and implemented a survey evaluation of an anti-bullying curricular program at the elementary school level
